makai (touhou)
The plane of demons seen in originally Touhou Highly Responsive To Prayers and the focus of Mystic Square, ruled by the devil-goddess Shinki. Elis, Sara, Louise, Yuki, Mai, Sariel, and Shinki's bodyguard/maid Yumeko are known residents. Alice Margatroid originally lived here, but has since moved to the Forest of Magic in Gensokyo. Hijiri Byakuren was formerly imprisoned here within a subregion known as Hokkai. And many fans speculate that Koakuma is a former resident, and ofc the Pink-Haired Makai Resident and the Blonde Makai Resident are natives as well.
