maple leaf
The leaf of the maple tree, most likely of the Japanese maple variety (Kaede, "Acer Japonica"). A common feature of pictures set in the autumn.
Japanese maple leaves have a similar appearance to marijuana leaves. In Japanese, the term "momiji" (紅葉) can refer to the maple leaf itself, or to the turning of autumn leaves in general.
