metoidioplasty
Metoidioplasty, also known as "meta" is a surgical procedure to construct the enlarged clitoris from testosterone (see large clitoris wiki for more information) into a micro penis as the clitoris and penis are homologous structures. Scrotoplasty and Glansplasty may also be performed as well. It is a type of sex reassignment surgery.
It involves a clitoral release where the clitoris is moved forward to the position that a penis would be, where the urethra is lengthened and rerouted through the phallus to allow urination while standing up.
Medical tattooing may be performed if one desires their penis to appear natal.
Metoidioplasty is the only sex reassignment surgery that was invented for trans people, specifically trans men in 1973. It is also simpler, cheaper, and has less risk of complications compared to phalloplasty.
