The 15th episode of Mobile Suit Gundam, which later received a movie in June 2022.
The original Gundam episode is notorious for being the source of several of the most recognizable QUALITY instances from the series, and is such a sore spot for the creators that Tomino Yoshiyuki himself requested that it not be included in foreign releases of the series.
The episode was adapted into part of The Origin from 2015 to 2019. This adaptation provided a lengthier backstory for Cucuruz Doan himself, and further context for characters involved in the original episode.
