my scene (franchise)
A line of dolls created by Mattel in 2002, as a response to the Bratz toyline focusing on a more urban setting. They are considered a spinoff of the Barbie dolls and were discontinued in the US by 2008 and worldwide by 2011.
Barbie herself was a part of the franchise before being replaced by a look-alike named Kennedy in 2006.
