The protagonist of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 3 Future Arc, an ordinary boy who is accepted to Hope's Peak Academy through a lottery. He's titled the Ultimate Lucky Student (超高校級の「幸運」).
He has short brown hair with a prominent ahoge and brown eyes. In Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc he wears a green hoodie with a black jacket over it and black pants.
In Danganronpa 3, he wears a green necktie, a collared white shirt with a black jacket and black pants as he has to appear in a formal clothes outfit.
His title became the Ultimate Hope (超高校級の「希望」) near the end of the game.
