ornate

Any object that is inscribed with an intricate design but is not limited to purely ornamental value, although it can include objects of purely ornamental value. This can be applied to weapons, armor, clothing, vehicles, etc.

Although Fantasy designs tend to incorporate ornateness into the design, this should be tagged if the ornateness is readily apparent. This also doesn't mean that the design is impractical, since the ornateness may be related to magical runes or enchantments.
