pretty guardian sailor moon

美少女戦士セーラームーン(ドラマ) 美少女戦士セーラームーン(実写版) 実写版セーラームーン

A live-action tokusatsu TV show based on the manga series Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. The series was produced by Toei, who also produces the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series. During its run Naoko rebooted the manga series under the name of the TV title.

The costumes worn by the actors are noticeably closer to Takeuchi Naoko's original manga design. To transform, they use the Jewelry Star Bracelet, instead of sticks as seen in the anime. The bracelet has a pink band with a silver heart.

One of the actresses, Kitagawa Keiko, plays as Hino Rei/Sailor Mars in the series. Later on, she voices Sailor Cosmos in Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal.
