princess peach (prototype)

One of the many early designs for Princess Peach, this one from a 1986 officially licensed Japanese shoes for girls [1]. This design briefly went semi-viral with artists drawing fanart of it.

The original creator of the design, Miyao Gaku, claims that it was made before her current design was finalized [2][3].
