Shampoo (シャンプー, Shanpū; Chinese: 珊璞; pinyin: Shānpú) is a young female character from China in Ranma 1/2. She turns into a cat whenever she gets wet with cold water.
She has long purple hair with bangs, double buns, and sidelocks with hair bows and hair bells, and red, purple, or brown eyes. She typically wears Chinese clothes (such as a china dress), and sometimes also an apron when working for her grandmother Cologne's restaurant. She can be seen carrying an okamochi when delivering food from the restaurant.
She loves Saotome Ranma and is socially obligated to marry him, but is loved by Mousse.
