shout lines
Two or more lines emanating from a person's head, with each line having a few jags similar to a lightning bolt. Often used to overemphasize shouting in comical situations, and also to portray shouting that is taking place mostly or completely off-panel.
Can also be used to show a character growling or annoyed.
Not to be confused with notice lines.
