slit pupils

Pupils that are "non-circular" that appear to be stretched vertically or horizontally.

These style of eyes are commonly seen with animals like small felines, foxes, goats, lizards, snakes, and cephalopods. It is a common feature of fantasy creatures such as dragons, vampires, demons and other monster characters, as well.

Tsurime eyes sometimes have large irises with a pupil appearing slit, but this isn't sufficient to be actual "slit pupils". This is also distinct from |_|.
