spider-man 1 (2002)
The first installment of Sam Raimi's trilogy of live-action Spider-Man films, Releasing in 2002, starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin. The film was notably one of the first financially and critically successful superhero films for Marvel, and arguably set off the trend for superhero movies in the early 2000s.
Many scenes and lines from the movie have been parodied many times since release and become the subject of memes, including Peter Parker's Glasses and the iconic upside-down kiss in the rain between Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson.
Followed by Spider-Man 2, released in 2004.
