tatsumaki senpuukyaku

The Tatsumaki Senpuukyaku (竜巻旋風脚, "Tornado Whirlwind Leg") is a special move primarily used by Ryu and Ken in Street Fighter, seeing the user spin through the air with a tornado-like kick.

Each variation of this move differs depending on the character and game; for instance, Ryu's version will hit once with a strong kick, while Ken's hit's up to three times―depending on the button pressed. Akuma's has multiple hits but also allows him to easily combo into a Shouryuuken. In earlier versions of Street Fighter II, this move functioned identically for both Ryu and Ken, hitting up to three times and having the universal property of passing over projectiles.
