Visual novel by 07th Expansion with an anime adaptation (aired 2009) and a version for the Playstation 3 (released 2016).
Part of the When They Cry series, along with Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni and Ciconia no Naku Koro Ni. 07th Expansion also developed a fighting game for it called Ougon Musou Kyoku.
The story focuses on a group of eighteen people, mostly family members of the wealthy Ushiromiya family, on a secluded island trapped by a typhoon for a period of two days.
The division of assets belonging to the ailing head of the Ushiromiya family is a primary source of conflict amongst much of the cast.
