On December 5, 2007, a mass shooting occurred in a Von Maur department store at Westroads Mall in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The perpetrator, 19-year old Robert Hawkins, murdered 8 people including 6 employees and 2 customers where Hawkins subsequently died by suicide.
