The fifth installment in the Wild Arms gaming franchise, also known as Wild Arms: The Vth Vanguard. It celebrates the series' 10th anniversary with an artbook featuring characters from the five games, plus cameos of the previous games' characters in WA5.

The setting is on Filgaia, as always, but an alien race called the Veruni took over 100 years ago and dominated the human race. The main hero Dean Stark and his friend Rebecca Streisand live secluded from this life and have big dreams, but come across a golem's arm (from Asgard) falling from the sky. Their adventure begins when they meet an amnesiac girl inside the arm; she only knows her name, Avril Vent Fleur, and the words 'Johnny Appleseed'.
