Winton Overwat or just Winton refers to a stuffed toy of the character Winston from the game Overwatch.
While the precise origin of the mispronunciation of this name is not known, references to it go back as far as Overwatch’s original 2016 release year.
A TikTok by Twitch streamer yawnymays went viral in 2022 featuring a random player playing as Winston while only saying "Winton" over voice chat before dying a swift death in the first minute of the match.
The video was later referenced by Blizzard in the 2023 April Fools event where players playing as Winston were forced to spam a "Winston!" voiceline whenever they got an elimination or used their jump pack.
Winton was then officially added to the game in April 2024 as an unlockable souvenir based on the original plushie in the Season 10 Battle Pass.
