zarude

A Dark/Grass-type Mythical Pokémon, #0893 in the National Pokédex.

Somewhat resembles a baboon. Has black fur, green eyes, red sclerae, and sharp teeth, including a pair of fangs.

A specific Zarude known as "Dada" plays a major role in Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. It is the adoptive father of Koko, and can be distinguished from other Zarude by the torn purple scarf it wears.
