Ha! This artillery monstrosity can probably shell the Hakurei and Moriya temples, probably the Myouren temple and guess fire where the Eientei is amidst the forest from her home.

Not really, they'd only need the rails to dock/un-dock the thing. Kinda how the US runs (or Ran, it's kinda obselete now) their NIKE Hercules Air-Defence Artillery system, it's rail based, but the rail only takes it out of the storage facility and into launching posistion.
