the video game version of the TCG, or the actual TCG? because the actual TCG is still fiercely popular, and stronger than it ever was under Wizards since they lost the rights and Nintendo spun their own Organized Play company for it

I played the first TCG (still have the Meowth promo card that game with it), and beat it at least once. Dunno if I had a guidebook for it, though. I either did or had found something online at some point, since I feel I consulted something regarding what all I could get outta Imakuni?.

Also played the actual TCG (collected more than played, admittedly; I wish I'd gotten some badges), up into the Gym Leaders expansions, maybe, but definitely through Base Set 2. Somehow traded a kid outta Imakuni?'s Doduo and [Your Name Here]'s Chansey, which I knew of from a card book. Prolly a raw deal on his end, and I can only hope he doesn't care anymore. Ah, Book-A-Million...

I don't doubt that a lot of people have played the physical TCG, hell even I collected them for a while. I'm talking about the gameboy game.

I played the cards which are now ill-gotten gains. The gameboy game had some nice music not to mention it was relatively fun to play.

I can't find this image on soara's site anymore.

Anyway, I played the gameboy game because it was the only way I had to actually play the TCG. I only really collected the cards.

it was originally on a page of the site that disappeared some time back when he redid the site layout. was only a few pics on that page so dont think anyone really noticed

Ah, yeah, it did, though I can't remember any [others] on my own. Definitely had a distinct sound compared to the regular games, not that I could pin it down with wordswordswords.

I have it. The AI is almost laughable and the game itself broken as hell on modern standards, but it's a pretty fun game.

Am I the only one who thinks that Mint should be an actual Pokemon trainer and not a card player, since unlike Mark she has the appearance of a trainer?
