Poor DPS, but yes it'd work for the story portion of the game. They certainly won't be doing the post-game content.

Good for them then. I was never able to make it to the end for 1 & 2 or obtain the true end for 3.The Ds kept spewing out the corrupted save message on the last stratum and died on the third playthrough for 3... -sobs-

Totally will play it! Even though I suck at this game!

Doctor Magus + Curse Maker is actually a pretty ridiculous combo. Doctor Magus acts as a mana battery so the Curse Maker can spam Revenge for huge, unresistable damage. Those two, with a Medic to revive the Curse Maker every time an enemy so much as looks at it wrong, can tear through most normal game stuff.

But its a pain in the ass to use them early game.
