So... I don't watch the anime because I'm a heretic or something so can someone please explain this to me. In Detail. Don't be stingy with spoiler sensitive details because I'll not care, not understand it without them, forget them later or all of the above.

In episode 7, a Abyssal fleet with Wo-Class as the flagship ambush Zuikaku and Shoukaku after they exit a squall, which they tried to use to get the same fleet of their tail. As the fleet tries to attack them, they get ambushed by earlier armada of fighter planes and Fubuki comes to save the two. During the battle, Wo-Class gets distracted by couple of dive bombers, allowing Fubuki to shoot her in the eye. The Cracked-Faced Wo (as I call her) managed to escape the battle after the rest of her fleet is destroyed.

So nothing pertaining as to what is beneath the outer shell of the Abyss ships is in this episode? Not that it's overly hard to imagine where it's most likely going to go.

At least one thing is canon now. Abyssal airplanes came out of the "real Wo"'s mouth.

We learned a few things from this episode:

    1. The Abyss Shipgirls use some form of nonverbal communication. Wo gestures, her whole fleet obeys.
    2. Abyssals have blue blood.
    3. Wo, suffering an eye loss, continues to have light burn in the socket. Whether they're undead or something else, the Abyssals are not mortal creatures.

    1. Telepathy likely or some kind of collective hivemind. (like the borg or the zerg)
    2. Don't know too much, probably related to their supposed Alien origins.
    3. regardless of what it means the abyssals just got 200 times more creepy.

My god flagship wo is a fucking bitch. I see even in the anime, she's the same, since in game she always get away somehow.
Not as bad as the other ships but bitch can really run.

I'm sadden that we're playing on the IJN's side and knowing that we'll never get a chance to just nuke these damn Abyss to hell, rather that we might be on the receiving end, piss me off.

The Devs better distort some history.

Actually it was implied this happen in modern day, so nukes are probably out of question.

Seeing as how we were able to have a taste of the Supergravity cannons from the Fog girls, it wouldn't be that surprising to get some sort of support item that nukes the enemy.

It'll probably make for good money if they decide to sell it via shop. Of course there's the matter of ethics, such as people screaming cheating and pay2win, but...whatever.
