...what's being held, trembling, above the TV in the first frame?
It's an old TV antenna, though we can only see it's base (TV is clearly CRT, so it supports this idea). I assume it's being held up to maintain good reception, and they've been holding it so long they're shaking (Or they're afraid if they drop it Nagato will get angry at them).

It looks like a parabolic antenna if anything, though, which confuses me.
