Considering Zuikaku seemed to remember Re's original form without actually having seen her in this lifetime, ACWO probably doesn't want to trigger memories about her death and resurrection back in war times

There are hints that young Zuikaku remembers fragments of the memories of the old Zuikaku. They don't want to trigger those bad memories in her. At least not now.
