It's funny how you can speak just ,,kurwa" because it means ,,fuck". Yet, Polish language is such rich tool for communicating, English can't even come close. ,,Kurwa" can mean loads of different things, as well you can say ,,fuck" with several different words. And those are just swears. English poems always sounds so robotic for me.

You know, writing ,,kurwa" next to Polish text looks like badly drawn dick next to Mona Lisa. Polish isn't just hard language; it's great tool for writers and witty minds. I find myself very constrained with English. You know, you can for example swap places of words in sentence in Polish - it will roughly mean the same thing. Yet, something will be pointed out.

Alicja ma kota. - Alice has a cat.

Kota ma Alicja. - Alice has A CAT. Also, it could mean that Alice is bonkers (about something).

Ma kota Alicja. - Alice HAS a cat. Like before, it might means that Alice is obsessed with something.

A kot ma wpierdol. - And cat is royally fucked up. Notice that in Polish, ,,wpierdol" is something to GIVE, rather than being DONE. So, in Polish, it roughly means like - And cat has obtained ticket for royal beatings. So, when some Pole is ,,generous" enough to give you ,,wpierdol", he isn't generous at all!

Notice that ,,pierdolić" can also mean fuck, and can also mean talking nonsense. Another thing, ,,wkurwić się" means to get angry with something. In Polish, you can play around with words as much as you like. Well, to some logical extent, at least.

Another great word is ,,załatwić". ,,Łatwy" means easy. So, ,,załatwić" means to make something easy - but that's on archaic Polish level. On nowadays Polish, it commonly means - to solve problem. ,,Załatwić się" means to go potty. It can also mean to commit suicide. ,,Załatwić kogoś" means to kill someone. You get this now? In Poland, we don't just ,,solve" problems. We... eradicate them. Make them... disappear. We get shit done. With one word!

Strict English-to-Polish translation of ,,to solve problem" would be ,,rozwiązać problem". ,,Rozwiązać" can also mean to untangle. And so on...

Huh, I didn't planned for this post to be this long.

It's a legacy from the earliest comics, where it was either the artist screwed up or intentionally flipped the colors to mock the Polish, and it stuck.
