Their beastly ears may be indicative of it.

in the short stories was also a minotaurus i wonder if one appear in the story and joins the harem.

I'm guessing this is a dream sequence, but all signs point to this actually happening once the writer is done milking all the romantic drama. Similar thing happened in Tenchi Muyo. Writers eventually admitted Tenchi grabbed all five/six of his girlfriends.

...Unless it already happened. I haven't kept track of the story.

Not really. Lala-chan doesn't have to go after Kimihito. She already knows she'll have him all to herself once he dies.

Since this is the ending shot of the credits in the last episode, I think they were just squeezing Lala into th new version of the picture.
