If you have no sexual intentions, I don't think it matters. I know I crawled into my parents' bed a load of times in the middle of the night as a young child. I had very...let's say, "vivid" nightmares as a kid. Including at least one where I got decapitated by the grim reaper and another one where a thylacine tried to eat me alive. Then there was the other one where I got bitten by a coral snake, or the one where everyone but my sister had vanish, and then she had vanished too...oh wait, and the one where I ended up playing a literal survival game with several monsters including a nosferatu style vampire and a flesh eating giant rat.
