There's no real consensus as to what shipgirls actually are, and the anime in particular tends more towards the "humans with ship spirits in them" type of interpretation. Getting a human that's channeling a spirit pregnant is done the old fashioned way...

Well, at least in the anime, Akagi mentions her "body of steel", so I think they're supposed to be physically more resilient, at least.

I removed the pregnant tag.

She's not showing and if holding a pregnancy test that shows that they are pregnant would qualify for the pregnant tag then there would be a 100% overlap with the pregnancy_test tag.
