That seems overly literal, since AFAIK Akigumo's usage of third person to refer to herself isn't an indicator of a childish/unusual manner of speech, but rather the typical Japanese tendency to frequently use third person instead of first person when referring to themselves, merely out of politeness.

Ah, but here Akigumo's not being polite - she's self-aggrandizing! This is more clear when she uses Akigumo-san, though. Not a lot of Kouji's characters use their own names, and Akigumo does switch between normal and her own name.
