She returned the allowance to her father, that's why he's holding the slip it was contained within when she leaves. He presumably decided to drink with the money on his own afterwards.
Her parents look really young. Like, late 20s at most.
A lot of anime artists have trouble making anyone look anywhere between 25 and 65 years old, they're either young and hot or wrinkly crones. When you reduce the detail of the faces that much, any wrinkles or lines at all are immediately noticeable and make people look far older.

This even more so for Animes with a Chibi art style by default. Comedy series already don't have much detail on faces or even clothes so it's even harder for artist to show age difference with the subtile marks that come with growing older.
