Dare I ask why this is in Current Events?

It's a long story, but to summarize the picture specifically: Kadokawa basically pulled a Konami and fired the director of surprise-hit Kemono Friends. The uproar has actually prompted an official CEO statement, but not before the studio tried to push the blame and/or anger onto others, including using the show's CV's as a figurative shield.

I heard that they are trying to talk with the Director of Kemofure to repair things that went broke.

They're talking with the studio at least. No further details, but they are talking. Whether those talks go anywhere is another story.
