LOL! This reminded me when you start off as Celes, Cid becomes sick and Celes needs to feed him fish, but if you catch rotten fish and feed it to "GRANDPA" Cid he'll die in the process and Celes will commit suicide, but will we drag back into the beach and will see a pigeon with Locke's bandana on and will search for her missing friends.

That's exactly the part of the game this is portraying. I'm guessing it's also portraying either her having caught a poisoned fish, and being oblivious to it -- or Celes having no culinary skills in the first place.
