Using Chinese sources and War Thunder wiki (of all sources for me to use, I think they translated from JP wiki), she was assigned to the 1st Maritime Escort Group (第一海上護衛隊, 1KEg) on August '44. The convoy she was sunk was Hi(ヒ)-92, transporting resources from Singapore back to Japan. This is ironic because Shounan (昭南) is the Japanese name for Singapore.
