    He sold off fragile, but expensive art to buy sturdy, unbreakable utility. that's smart money use. Remember this guy is bad at being an evil slave owner.

    It's a good idea, but consider;

    He probably didn't get what the merchandise was worth. Art is hard to sell. Unloading large volumes of it is pretty much impossible.

    Secondly, he'd earlier said he wanted to develop their sense of aesthetics, but now everything has become cheap wood. It looks like a house for peasants. Instead of learning to appreciate (and preserve) the finer things, he's brought the house down to their level.

    So he's objectively less wealthy, perhaps much less so, and he's now lowered his expectations for them.

    I'm actually worried they'll end up in an impoverished state.

    Counter point, this fop is fantasy rich.

    I assume there is a plot even where there likely isn't one.

    the plot: ricj idiot buys loli sex slaves to "make a harem." turns out he's bad at being an evil slave ownr and is actually raising them right to fit his "rich snob" fetish.

    Considering that long hair there had to actively try and break it before it broke?

    Yeah he got some really sturdy shit alright.

    And I guess by "Swipe from my parents" I guess he means it's either a gift or inherited.

    Likely inherited since we don't see hide not tail of them.

    The actual phrase he uses is "swiped from my parent's house". I omitted the house part because I thought it was more natural that way, but it's most likely that he simply lives separately from them.

    Long-Hair's quickly becoming my favourite character in this pool, I have to admit!

    Just read the very short prequel to this and gotta admit that's some really dark stuff compared to this wholesome thing going on right now.

    Well, whatever they may have broken up until now I'll have them pay back later with their bodies......
    I'm glad I decided to pawn off all those art pieces I swiped from my parents.
    I even swapped out all the cutlery for new ones that won't break.
    We hope to see you again...
