Looks more to me that she just one-upped Youmu at swordsmanship (and apparently without a sword just to add more insult to injury) thanks to her stupidly overpowered sutra scrolls.
Her body-enhancing powers don't have any clearly defined limitations so it's generally assumed no physical task is impossible for her. Hijiri is essentially Touhou's Chuck Norris.
