I do not think I can provide enough evidence, and I do not really mind that much.
I think, latest works from this artist looks ai-generated.
    It triggers online detectors.
There's some style-shift, it's done smooth enough, perhaps at first it was based on their past works, maybe only part of a picture etc. This particular picture looks different enough from their work before the popularization of generators. How faces were drawn, how the poses were set, shading was a little different, but I don't even know how to explain it.
Does anyone else think the same?

Here's my speculation on their process.

-They used a 3D model for the poses and BG, as evidence by the hands and the background.

-They ran the 3D model into Stable diffusion to get the shading and rendering, then copied (or used it as a reference) what the AI gave them and added some line art and touch-ups.

-They were unable to do this for the hands, because the AI is notoriously bad at hands, and so left the hands mostly untouched and just did their best to blend the 3D with the rest of the drawing.

-They didn't do too much with the background, just some blending, leaving most of it still in the 3D rendered state.

Their older work has a lot more 3D model rendering to them. I think they were still experimenting on how to paint over the 3D model.

This artist has being drawing (lewds) for a very LONG time and you think his art style is that? sheesh. I'll bet his artstyle was copied and use in someone's AIgenerated artwork lol not the other way around.

I can agree to most points. I think there is still effort involved.
I don't think it's just reference, shading is different from their previous work, there is no reason to learn to do it differently. And it seems to me that the way the faces are drawn has become different and not so consistent. 3d models are not suitable for faces in anime style. As I understand the process, the way the faces are drafted in recent works looks odd even for experimentation.

I am and other artists experimented with online detectors. You can definitely increase your score with some tricks.
But we couldn't earn more than 15% of points. This artist's latest drawings get over .98
I think it's possible, but overall, deliberately trying to make your art more similar to the generated one is hardly what an artist would want right now. Out of fear of being accused.
I personally don't care so much about whether a person drew it, or train a neural network with the right entry. One way or another I'll get more things that I like, even if it's a roundabout.

I don't understand what you mean.
I know his old works. Is this one not his work? - It's from his fantia.
Is it a reason to start drawing in different style, which looks generated?
Do you think the generators used his old style, so now many of the generated pictures look like his drawings? - I doubt, his old drawings don't trigger detectors, and they don't look like new ones for me.

I can't say for sure if the body is just copypasta-ed from what AI gave, or if its copied manually. It does look very AI style, but there are parts that look manually painted. He may have just copied manually very well. The Line art definitely looks hand-drawn.

As for the faces changing, it's pretty normal for artist to change how they draw faces over time. Faces change more rapidly during an artist earlier years, prior to developing a coherent style. Every artist does this. And if the artist is using AI, it's natural for him to incorporate what he sees into his new faces. Also, it maybe just be a matter of convenience. Using your person style on an AI generated rendering or reference don't always fit well. He may have just thought it looked better to keep the the typical AI style out of cohesion.

I did some work, tried to study the issue. I gave my reasoning. I wonder how people perceive it and why.
You gave no reason why you think this is a clean drawing - without reasoning this fits the definition of assumption, you do not add details to understanding of the issue. You assume that the other person meant. I see only your dissatisfaction in that I am considering here an issue.

And again, I have no desire to participate in a witch hunt. I use danbooru to find references and ideas. If it helps it doesn't matter whether it is generated or not.

If I give this picture to people and ask if it was generated, mostly they say "yes". And it follows that they would not give money and they are not interested in them as an author.
I'm curious why it gives that impression. And how it happened, because before the popularization of neural networks, this artist had good enough works.

Neiri, this sort of debate is neither the point of this web site nor its comment section. We just tangent a lot. If you wish to flag this image for re-evaluation, flag it; otherwise, go make a forum post about your musings in regards to our casual art critique. Additionally, there is an AI-generated art check thread. Please utilize it.

This is not a debate by definition, I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything here, I want to hear opinions, it's a discussion. Agemmata was helpful.

Once again, flagging and checking is not my intention here. Thanks for the reminder, but if that was my goal, I would indeed do so without asking for opinions. (Btw this picture is being discussed in check-tread without me and before me)

Perhaps creating a forum post would indeed be more correct.
But I raised the topic in the context of a particular picture, and I would like to consider the subject in the context of a particular picture among those who look at this picture. There are many examples of such cases on the site and this has never been a problem.
