Err... what karma? She's playing a video game slightly more seriously than her sisters are, and is using hard-earned experience gained by playing until she "gut gud" rather than frantically switching games until she found one she didn't suck at to make level-headed decisions instead of panicking. If karma says anything, it's that the player that put in the most hours of practice should win.

I mean about the fact that she accidently picked a stun grenade instead of a smoke grenade and then pretty much acts like it wasn't her fault Akatsuki died (as Ikazuchi comments on).

But it's at most really indirectly her fault Akatsuki died.

It's Kitakami's first and foremost because she directly killed Akatsuki. It's Akatsuki's to a lesser extent because she was jumping around out in the open when she should have known there were more enemies in the area. Inazuma might have possibly been able to save Akatsuki if she hadn't screwed up, but that requires her to have had a smoke grenade (which she might not - she might have only thought she picked one up, but the mistake was thinking she had a smoke grenade when it was only a stun grenade), and even if she had thrown it, there's no guarantee Kitakami didn't already have a bead on Akatsuki and wasn't just waiting to see if anyone rushed out to save her before finishing her off (ala the scene in Full Metal Jacket). Silliness aside, there may have been nothing Inazuma and Ikazuchi could have done.

It's like saying that a fumble in the fourth quarter of an (American) football game which ended a drive that would have tied the game is what caused a loss when there were dozens of other opportunities to score that were missed, other fumbles, and times when the opponents were allowed to score which were all equal or more pressing reasons why the game was lost. Inazuma's mistake is merely the one that happened last, but it's not the most critical reason that events played out this way.
