That's super cursed, Yoshinori added a pivot for it to open on, but nothing to lock it closed. If you really want a top break, just make it a Schofield, they were also quite popular in the wild west.

iowa has a nice gun, i'll give her that

but the engravings gives her no tactical advantage whatsoever
