Low-effort commenting is generally discouraged here. If we let everyone just comment "waifu" on posts they like, the whole site would be flooded with them and it'd be harder to find the comments that are actually interesting.

Right at the top of the page there'e a tab for comments. Clicking on it gives you a list of all posts with recent comments. That is how people find your comments to downvote to begin with. If you want to continue making pointless comments about someone being your waife click the "No bump" switch right next to the comment button, that way it won't show up on the comments page. Or, y'know, don't make those pointless comments at all.
