I mean the weapon she's using. It looks quite a lot like the blades used by the mass produced units.

for those who don't know: the mass produced evas were 'driven' by copies of kaworu, much like the dummy system in eva 01 used a copy of rei (they reveal that around the time kaworu shows up). so, even if this is just a 'mass production', it's still a genderswap :P
