I'm sorry, but I don't see how this qualifies as "cosplay." In "Spirit Tracks," this is the first thing Link wears, and then later on (after getting the green outfit) you can switch back to the engineer outfit again.
The only reason I can see this qualifying as "cosplay" is because Adult!Link is cosplaying Engineer!Link...

That's why it's cosplay.
