    It's Pikachu. It can fire off a Thunderbolt UNDERWATER and take out a Gyarados a good 20 feet away without hurting the people next to it. Apparently, it takes physical contact to be caught in Pikachu's crossfire.

    It works the same as in the main games, but just as its Water type negates its resistance, its Dragon type negates its weakness, so Thunderbolt won't be supereffective.
