Well, the Nazi emblem is indeed a reverse swastika. It's used nowhere else, since reverse swastika in its native Buddhism setting signifies bad karma or something.

New STG44's are made in Germany, semi auto only. Not importable to the USA, (sad face).

Yeah, Sport-Systeme Dittrich makes them, but they
are ridiculously overpriced. About $3000 for one.

It was actually an abomination. Neither SMG or rifle, while certainly not an assault rifle (no such thing as of that time). And just to say, it's not the first automatic rifle.

At the same time, while STG44 and AK has uncanny appearance, their internal designs are different. So AK certainly is not based on STG44.
