That Monster Girl Profile is about a year old,Aya has been around for a lot longer than that,so it's still more likely that kenkou cross draw some inspiration from Aya's appearance than the other way around.

I think the concept of Crow Tengu's is a bit older than either Monster Girl Profile or Touhou.

I know,but I'm talking about the appearance,the "short black hair girl with miniskirt" part.
But then again I guess there aren't that many combination to be made when you want to make a girl Crow Tengu anyway.

That's not really a miniskirt, either. It's the bottom part of a short kimono.
