Well it's certainly not a dramatic departure from their original designs like Miku Append was, that's for sure, though I guess my only real problem with that was the feet really.

I did not like Miku's Append redesign one bit, but at least these two got a good one.

Man, this is pretty fascinating.

I can only imagine what everyone else's append looks like.

Interesting. They gave Rin bridal_gauntlets, just like Miku Append. Is this going to be a reccuring clothing item, I wonder?

For some reason the append designs just don't appeal to me the same as the original designs

They're over-designed.
At least these two don't look like some kind of Pantless Space Dilbert.

Personally, I find this design fascinating because it was made by the same artist who did my most favorite Hatsune Miku fan-art. Just look at his most recent art, it's the Miku Append one.
I hope that's what got him Crypton's attention to allow him to do the design for Kagamine append.
