Locking the fanclub topic wasn't a good idea in my opinion; as all it has accomplished is the spread of a shocking amount of misinformation. Plus, everything of value is still on Google cache, even the pages themselves.

The FC was locked because somebody in 4chan linked to the FC itself, not for any other reasons. I was going to be busy in the following days and I didn't want any surprises when I came back.
The problem was not that the comic itself was posted in other sites (that was inevitable once it was leaked), but that the artist trusted somebody and that somebody betrayed the artist's trust. That's all.
In any case, SLJ is alright with the comic being out now, so I have no problems with it. The reason the FC hasn't been unlocked yet is because I've been too busy to contact a mod. :)
