What language is this? Wikipedia says the alpahbet isn't Arabic, Hebrew or Thai (or Indian, but the various script don't look anything like this)

Wait this isnt thai? Cause i recognize several of the characters from when my father was raising me. Perhaps it could be Laos then though. My grandpa told me they do share letters.

If I remember correctly, that's one of the many royalty-free custom fonts that have since become standard in the Thai independent manga industry... (The font's name escapes me, but I've used it plenty of times.)
