Can someone explain to me the whole "dancing in between two halves of fruit" thing?

I've seen it before too, I'm also curious. My bet is on an obscure parody, maybe from a commercial or something like that.

This is a parody of the opening of "Sazae-san", one of the most well-known anime in Japan.

So do we give it a tag or what?
