Some do, keeping your lower half facing foward while turning your upper body can be done... but it hurts, especially for tubby (fat lolz) ppl like me. Don't ask why I do it. Flexable people can do this with no problem though.
I learned something new thank you, then again I may have seen it around but never noticed it, heck may have even used it on a submission or two and forgot. lol
